Genuine paradise of the Kyrgyz Mountains
The Osh region is situated in the south-west of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Alai Mountains are located in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan and can be defined as the area covered by three principal geological formations: The Alai range, The Trans-Alai range and the Alai Valley, a plateau at 2800 m located between the Alai and Trans-Alai ranges. The Alai region is characterised by continental high mountain conditions. Summers are dry and warm with temperatures up to 32 °C.
